Retail Loss Prevention is a type of private investigaion into larceny or theft within a retail industry. Our focus in loss prevention includes shoplifting, embezzlement, check fraud, credit fraud, and package pilferage.
Upon inventory, the difference between actual inventory and purchase/sales records is termed shrinkage. Our objective in loss prevention private investigation is to maximize profits through reducing this shrinkage.
At Holston Investigations Group, we work together with retail industries to reduce shrinkage through investigation. We do this by checking record-keeping, unauthorized mark-downs, stashing of merchandise, improper refunding, credit card theft and several other ways.
